Machine Tool Thermal Displacement Compensation Application Technology
Content introduction:
♦ Per ASME B5.54 standard, measure the thermal displacement of machine tool and its structure relative to the working platform, and create thermal displacement characteristic curve databases based on this
♦ Focus on temperature rising parameter, time parameter and thermal displacement amount to construct mathematic model for thermal compensation
♦ Real machine compensation for resolving the thermal displacement problem generated in the machine tool during cutting
System architecture

Thermal displacement compensation module functions:
♦ Capable to provide eight units of temperature sensor with working range in between -10~60℃
♦ Spindle shaft can perform compensation along the three directions of X, Y, Z (not including feeding thermal displacement) with compensation range in between (+-)0~256um and compensation accuracy at 20 m
♦ Equipped with temperature sensor, line down detection and abnormal temperature changes detection and indication, and with built-in power supply module
♦ LCD is capable to display eight sets of real time temperature
♦ Have temperature rising parameter modifying function

♦ Reduce the errors generated in the thermal displacement during processing

♦ Machine warming is not needed, stepping errors can be controlled under 0.02mm, and suitable for the mold processing machines that continue to process over a long period time.
